Route Map

General information:

The route is the entire length of the Confederation trail, starting in Tignish finishing in Elmira. The race course is completely on the trail, with less than a few hundred meters of the course being on roadways. There are many road crossings (See spectator information) and they will be flagged by T2TR staff.

Trail Surface:

The trail is a fine, very hard packed gravel. It makes an excellent surface for running.

Elevation profile:

The confederation trail is an abandoned train track that has been turned into a highly maintained running and biking trail. It is almost completely flat with no inclines of more than 4% anywhere on the trail.
